Why I Want To Be Ready When Death Comes For Me

Here's the simple truth we all must face if we want a deeply meaningful life, right now:

At some point, everything you know, experience, and are attached to is all going to end.

Well… is it?

Life ends as we know it when we die… and gives room for something new.

Just like the caterpillar who goes into the chrysalis, not knowing what's on the other side… then when the time is right, she emerges in a completely new form, flying higher than before.

It's normal to be afraid of death.

I have my own fears about it too.

After all, I'm human.

But my teacher told me, "choose to believe that which gives you energy"

And I don't know about you, but thinking that everything just ends, POOF. and that's it… well, that makes me feel super depressed and low (no energy), and also just doesn't resonate with me.

When I look to the teachings of most spiritual wisdom keepers around the world across aeons, they all share some version of the same story: that each one of us is part of a larger whole, and that when we die, we simply transition into a new, higher realm of reality and consciousness.

THAT gets me excited… awe-inspired, mystified, and humbled.

My whole life I've listened acutely to stories and beliefs around death and dying… probably to pacify my human fear of death, but also to educate myself about what's to come next.

You see, I believe that our human lives are like a training camp for death.

The yogi's teach us that at the very end of life, you'll have an opportunity to review that which you have impacted during your lifetime.

But not for the purpose of punishment or reward… no.

For the purpose of raising your frequency, getting closer and closer to the highest “kingdom” (aka frequency): Love.

The more karma (aka lower frequencies) you've managed to overcome with compassion, kindness, gratitude, etc. the more likely you'll be able to drop your baggage at end of life, and keep ascending.

Just like Jesus.

And Muhammed.

And Buddha.

What about you?

What beliefs give you energy, and resonate with your soul?

I want to be ready when death comes for me.

Practically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually.

That might seem like a lofty goal… and maybe it is.

Maybe when it comes I'll eat my words :)

But until then, I'm going to keep going to prepare for my end-of-life chapter, TODAY.

Because knowing this is all going to end in some fashion makes this moment 1000% more rich with beauty, appreciation, and possibility :)

If you'd like to have meaningful conversations, guidance, and a roadmap to do the same, whether you're facing a life-limiting illness, or cariplanning for the end.ng for someone who is, it's never too early to get started on planning for the end.
