What my “new” Astrological Sign Awoke me To

The fastest way to allow more abundance (aka love, money, etc.) into your life is to let go of the old version of you.

Let me tell you a quick story…

If you're like me, you pay attention to the moon cycles and to what the astrologers are telling us about the movement in the cosmos, but you're not so deep into it you can tell others why Mercury retrograde is a bad thing…

So, you may have noticed that there seems to be a resurgence of a different astrology framework called True Sky or Sidereal, based on the idea of how the starts were actually in the sky the day you were born, rather than how the constellations were based on seasons (called Tropical Astrology, the more common framework).

I'm not an expert on this, and I'm not writing to talk about which framework is better, or whatever…

I'm just sharing an insight that the ‘conflict’ gave me recently into my path.

In tropical astrology I'm an Aquarius - a visionary, a rebel, a creative soul. I've always prided myself on these aspects of myself! (ahem… I even called my business coaching business The Aquarian Academy…)

BUT according to True Sky astrology, I'm a CAPRICORN! Ah!

Capricorns are said to be practical, determined, diligent, attention-focused and good with money.

Huh?

I've NEVER seen myself as practical, determined, diligent, attention-focused or… (confession time)… good with money…

MAGICALLY these happen to be the exact areas of my life I'm consciously working to grow and improve :)

I had a thought… maybe in the Picean era (the one we just move out of, cosmologically speaking)… it was important for me to identify with the Aquarian archetype so I could gain courage to be different, speak out, and create my reality based on those characteristics.

And now that we have entered the Aquarian Age, perhaps it's time for me to connect with the archetype of Capricorn inside me so I can be of the most use to others as we build the next chapter of humanity.

If you want to build something new (like a more successful marriage, a new career, or parent a human being…) you need to be open to constant iterations of who you are.

When I help my clients heal trauma, I witness them saying goodbye to an old, out-dated version of themselves, which can be quite hard.

Grief is a normal part of that growth process.

But to step into the present fully, so you can access your creative potential, you need to be brave enough to let go of identities that no longer fit, and open yourself to new possibilities of who you are.

Only from the space of possibilities will you create a new reality that is more harmonious, loving, fun, and prosperous.

What do you need to let go of to move forward in your life?

What do you need to allow more of to expand and receive all life has to offer you?

Cheers to all the versions of you that have ever been, and ever will be :)

PS If you want support in moving to the next level of your journey, let me know, I’d love to support you!
