How to be calm… even when the people around you are not.

Quick question, My Love:

Do you give yourself permission to feel happy even when people around you are not?



Or do you feel, on some level, that if you were happy in the face of all the suffering in the world, that it'd mean there's something wrong with you… or that you'd be "selfish"… or you'd be judged harshly by others?

 

Finding peace within can be a real challenge, especially as a highly-sensitive, caring person (I'm still learning learning this skill too!)

 

Here's what I've come to realize: 

 

A society full of unhappy people (but who continue in day-to-day routines) is a society cannot mobilize by coming together to tackle larger issues and make lasting change.  

 

Hmmm…

 

So why do we buy into this? 

 

Especially as caring, sensitive, soulful warriors who want a better world for ourselves and our kids… why do we let ourselves be subdued by this conditioning?

 

I'm not suggesting there aren't real issues to be unhappy about… or that suffering isn't allowed.  

 

Of course, life is challenging and we are allowed to give ourselves the grace to be unhappy about things.

 

But I'm suggesting that to actually make change for yourself and your loved ones (and the world at large), you need to prioritize your happiness first, no matter what's going on around you.

 

"Happiness" may not be the best word… we could substitute the word “vitality” or “wellness” or “satisfaction”… whatever you want. 

 

Removing old stories & traumas that live in your subconscious mind and body is the most important step toward regaining your life-force energy, in my view.

 

Until you clear the clutter, you can't see the new, more joyful reality you're trying to create.

 

Did you know 90% of your choices are driven by your subconscious mind?

  

So no matter how good your intentions are to change your perspective, or your habits, your automatic negative beliefs will take over and sabotage you.

 

It's neuroscience - the pathways that exist in your brain have to be changed so you can make NEW, more adaptive pathways that lead to new thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

 

Luckily, your brain is wired for change, it just needs the right conditions & guidance.

 

The most successful people on the planet know this - that's why they use meditation, therapy, coaching, nature, other other tools to create new neural pathways every day. 

 

You can do it too!

 

It's time for a revolution on this planet whereby all humans feel deeply connected to themselves, to Spirit, the Earth, and each other.  

 

It's a revolution that has to be led by the conscious, caring, creative, deeply-feeling people like YOU.

 

The first step is finding PEACE within yourself to be happy, creative, and calm no matter what outside forces you're up against. 

 

You deserve to be happy.  

 

You deserve to be healthy. 

If you're excited to find this peace and permission inside yourself, and let go of old people-pleasing habits that don't serve you, this might be the opportunity you've been manifesting.
